Vacation
All employees start with 3 weeks vacation. You get an extra week of vacation every 5 years you are employed, to a maximum of 5 weeks of vacation every year.

Staff Events
At ACL we are focused on our goals and we are a hardworking group, but sometimes it is nice to take a break and have some fun together. So, throughout the year ACL hosts a variety of staff events to give the team an opportunity to spend some time together. At monthly mingles, staff parties, and rooftop barbeques, our team members get to interact with employees from different departments. These events allow everyone to come together and have a good time.

Community Involvement
ACL believes in giving back to the community. Our staff members can be found participating in local charity events throughout the year. ACL also works closely with the United Way on a campaign that runs every fall.

Reward and Recognition Program
ACL recognizes individuals that work hard and go that extra mile for the organization. Once a quarter we select and honor two staff members that truly exhibit our values. We also give back to those who have been with us over the years. Staff members are rewarded each time they pass their 5, 10, and 15 years of service with ACL. We also offer on-the-spot rewards for those who make important contributions to the organization. We appreciate that our employees give so much to the organization so it is important for us to recognize their achievements.

Referral Program
Know some talented individuals? Our employees are encouraged to refer their friends and family for job postings – and a substantial referral bonus is given to you if your referral is hired.

Career Development
At ACL we believe that it is important to invest in our staff and to give them the training and the tools they need to be successful. Every 6 months, employees and supervisors work together to set goals to ensure a shared understanding of each staff member's deliverables.

We also encourage our team members to take part in professional associations. We gladly cover the professional association fees so that our employees can stay involved with relevant special interests groups and have access to seminars, newsletters, and the opportunity to network in their local community. In addition, for those who feel they can benefit from better public speaking skills, ACL will cover the cost of a Toastmasters Club membership.

Continuing education is another important aspect to long-term career development. ACL will reimburse staff members who take job-specific education programs and courses. We also give our staff the option to take a study day so that they may prepare for a difficult exam.
