Judging Criteria and Awards Categories

All entrants are required to complete a short Entry Form describing how they have utilized ACL technology. No data or ACL software files are required. Awards are divided into the categories noted below. Applicants may apply in more than one category. All entries received by the deadline of August 9, 2010 will be considered for the Grand Prize and Regional Awards.

Best Application of Continuous Auditing/Monitoring Award (1)
Its all about your transformation from traditional periodic and point-in-time auditing to continuous auditing/monitoring across one or more business processes. Through your use of AuditExchange, you demonstrate the integration of issue identification with issue tracking and final resolution ultimately having a positive impact on internal, regulatory or external audit processes.

Most Promising Novice Award (1)
Ideal for a new user who has been using ACL for less than two years. Describe how you have been using ACL technology in your role and demonstrate the benefits and impact on the bottom-line in using purpose-built software.

Audit Productivity Team Award (1 Team)
Ideal for the Audit department who has elevated their productivity and efficiency by creating automated tasks. Describe how using ACL technology has enabled your team become more productive and more efficient and articulate the specific tangible benefits experienced.

Most Innovative Use Award (1)
Demonstration of the most innovative use of ACL technology. Describe how you have used ACL technology with your own flair for innovation and creativity. Illustrate the overall business benefit i.e. such as increased efficiency, decreased risk, adding value.

Grand Prize Award (1)
The story should outline business challenges and how ACL technology helped resolved them including quantifiable results (time, money, people etc) and overall departmental or organization benefits received. List measurable results achieved; cost savings, recoveries made, productivity gains (weeks/days/hours saved), improved processes (manual to automation) etc.

Regional Winners Award (4)
Based on those applicants who are short-listed for the Grand Prize Award as the runner up in their region (NA, EMEA, LAC, ASIA). Entries must show business impact with quantifiable results.

Entries will be short-listed by a panel of ACL judges.

ACL will only publish the winners names and their stories with the consent of the participant and their organization.

Phase 1: Call for Entries
Deadline: August 9, 2010
Customers are invited to complete the Entry Form to indicate how they have successfully applied ACL within their organizations.

Phase 2: Short-listed Candidates
August 9 - 13, 2010
An ACL judging panel will develop a shortlist from the initial applications. Short-listed candidates may be asked to provide a copy of their technical documentation of their use of ACL technology or additional information for judging reference only purposes only.

Phase 3: Winner Selection
August 16, 2010
The winner will be notified and announced by August 16, 2010.
