About Dave Coderre

David Coderre is the President of Computer Assisted Analysis Techniques and Solutions (CAATS). With over 30 years of internal audit experience he has led numerous audits of IT, operations and financial nature. He is an expert in the development and use data analytics, fraud analytics, and continuous auditing. Dave is the author of three books on auditing: Internal Audit: Efficiency through Automation (2008), Computer-Aided Fraud Prevention and Detection: A Step by Step Guide (2009); and Fraud Analysis Techniques Using ACL (2009). He is also the author of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Global Technology Audit Guide – Continuous Auditing: Implications for Assurance, Monitoring and Risk Assessment; and contributed to the data analytics portions of the COSO Fraud Risk Management Guide released in September 2016.
